The Mid-American Conference released its football schedule for 2010, finalizing Ball State University's slate.
The Cardinals nonconference schedule has been set since last semester, but now the conference games are included as well. Ball State will open MAC play Oct. 2 at defending champion Central Michigan University.
In crossover play with the MAC East, Ball State will visit Kent State University on Oct. 30 and the University at Buffalo on Nov. 12. The game at Buffalo will be shown on ESPNU, and is Ball State's only TV game during conference play. Ball State will also host the University of Akron on Nov. 6.
Ball State closes the season at home Nov. 20 against Northern Illinois University.
The Cardinals have 10 Saturday games this year. Only the opener Thursday, Sept. 2 against Southeast Missouri State University will be a midweek game. The Buffalo game is scheduled for Friday night.
Ball State does not have a bye week in the schedule.
