Ball State University students will get to test their paper airplane skills in Irving Gym Saturday as part of the Red Bull Paper Wings Qualifier, according to a press release.
Students will test their homemade airplanes in distance, airtime and aerobatics.
According to its Web site, the contest consists of thousands of pilots, dozens of qualifiers and spans 85 countries. Five airplane flyers will be chosen for a chance to win a trip to Austria.
The event will last from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Students must sign up at redbullpaperwings.com or register on-site at the event.
