MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Cards back in rankings at No. 15

After a three-week absence, the Ball State University men's volleyball team is back in the national rankings.

The Cardinals received 21 votes - 15 more votes than last week - to move to No. 15 in the top 15 coaches poll released Monday afternoon.

Ball State (7-4, 3-0 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association) is on a six-match winning streak. The Cardinals also moved to sole possession of first place in the MIVA with wins against IPFW on Friday and then-No. 14 Loyola University on Saturday.

This is the first time the Cardinals have been ranked since being No. 13 in the Feb. 2 poll. Ball State started the preseason No. 12 and opened the season losing four of its first five matches.
