WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Cards stay in first win against Eagles

The Ball State University women's basketball team defeated Eastern Michigan University 68-59 on Tuesday in Ypsilanti, Mich.

The Cardinals had three players score at least 10 points as they shot 42 percent from the field. Guard Porchia Green had a team-high 18 points.

With this win, Ball State (19--8, 11-2 Mid-American Conference) remains in sole possession of first place in the MAC West Division. The Cardinals have three conference games left and are a game and a half ahead of second place University of Toledo.
