Ball State University track and field athlete Amber Williams was named the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Week today.
Williams provisionally qualified for the NCAA meet in the 60-meter hurdles at the Ball State Quadrangular on Friday with a time of 8.29 seconds. It was the second time in her career she provisionally qualified for the NCAA meet in the event.
She also won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.45 seconds and finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.22 seconds at the home meet.
Today marked the second time in the last three weeks Williams won the MAC's weekly award. It was the fourth time in her career she won the honor.
