Below are three timelines of events as told to the Daily News by former and current members and staff of Cardinal Impact.

The timelines represent the views of Cody Willis, Beth Cahill and Kyle Ellis.

Former treasury candidate Cody Willis' version

  • Willis gets signatures from members of his fraternity; some sign without adding address
  • Willis notices some addresses missing, asks Ellis if it's OK to confirm addresses and write them himself
  • Ellis says this does violate any election rules
  • Willis confirms addresses, writes them in himself
  • MONDAY'S NOMINATION CONVENTION-Cardinal Impact denied nomination because some signatures were unverifiable; a second nomination convention is set for Thursday according to DN report on Tuesday
  • Willis says Ellis denies telling him to confirm addresses and write them in himself
  • Willis tells the slate members he thinks they should admit the mistake; Ellis advises otherwise
  • DN UPDATE TUESDAY-According to Elections Code, slates can turn in election packets until 5 p.m. the day before ballots are released; second convention still Thursday
