U.S. Republican Congressman Mike Pence will have an open house 11:30 a.m. Friday at his new Muncie office.
Pence, who represents Muncie and Ball State University in his district, has not provided the specifics of the open house. Calls into his press office were not returned.
Pence has been a vocal opponent of President Barack Obama's stimulus bill that passed Tuesday. According to a press release, Pence has been trying to get Speaker Nancy Pelosi to disclose the details of a Democratic spending bill online so it doesn't "spend the people's money in secret."
Pence has been representing Indiana's 6th District since 2003 and holds a seat on the Foreign Affairs committee.
Pence's new office is in the Murray Building on 107 W. Charles St.
