Thirteen of Ball State's finest men will strut their stuff at Alpha Phi sorority's annual Mr. Phi-Nominal competition tonight.
Alpha Phi president Maggi Naffziger said the event was like a Mr. America pageant.
The doors to Pruis Hall will close at 8:15 p.m., said Naffziger. Spectators should hold on to their ticket stubs because there will be door prizes given away during intermission.
All men participating will be interviewed before the talent portion of the show. Three finalists will then be chosen and given a question to answer before the audience.
Tickets for the show can be purchased from a member of the sorority in advance for $3 and are $5 at the door. Mr. Phi-Nominal is open to anyone on campus and in the Muncie community.
February is Cardiac Care Month, so all of the event' proceeds will go toward raising public awareness about cardiovascular disease, the No. 1 killer of women, according to Alpha Phi's national Web site.
