INDIANAPOLIS - Drew Willy reminisced about his football career with Ball State University quarterback Nate Davis this week but not much was said about the Mid-American Conference Championship Game.
Willy said he and Davis sat next to each other in the hospital getting their tests done for the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine. The two did not talk much about the game in which the University at Buffalo beat Ball State 42-24 to end the Cardinals' perfect season, the Bulls quarterback said.
Willy said he and Davis first met at the 2008 MAC Media Day this past summer.
"We definitely met each other, and we had a good time talking," Willy said. "And he's a great guy."
