Phi Delta Theta will have a date auction to help Muncie Mission and raise money for its fraternity house fund at 7 p.m. in Rm. 217 of the Art Museum.
Admission is $1 or a canned good and is open to anyone on campus, said Philanthropy Chair Randy Thomas.
The door will be donated to Muncie Mission.
Thomas said money raised during the auction will go in the fraternity's house fund. He said Ball State University purchased the old house a few years ago through eminent domain. Phi Delta Theta has been looking for a new home since that time.
The event will be fun, Thomas said. Each Phi to be auctioned will come out to the music of his choice and receive an introduction. The floor will then open, he said.
Thomas said other chapters pulled money together and purchased a Phi in the past for fun.
"Usually [on the date] you just hang out and talk," Thomas said. "You get your money's worth."
