Saturday's baseball game between Ball State University and Cleveland State University was rained out.
The teams were scheduled to play their second games in the Austin Peay Invitational at noon. The Cardinals defeated Indiana University 5-4 in their game Friday when junior center fielder Jeremy Hazelbaker hit a walk-off home run. Cleveland State lost 6-0 to host Austin Peay State University.
Play is scheduled to continue in Clarksville, Tenn., on Sunday with Ball State taking on Austin Peay at 2:30 p.m. The start time has been moved up an hour in an effort to get an extra game in at 5 p.m. between two teams to be determined.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Montgomery County, Tenn., where Clarksville is located from 6 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday leaving the feasibility of playing any games Sunday in doubt.
