FOOTBALL: More fan buses to be chartered for game

Students needing a ride to Wednesday's football game against Central Michigan University can sign up today for a seat on a bus up to Mount Pleasant, Mich.

The Ball State University president's office and Student Government Association are providing as many buses as it takes to transport students who want to go to the game.

The sign-ups are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Office of Student Life in L.A. Pittenger Student Center Rm. 133. Students must pay a $10 fee upon signing up. The fee will cover transportation to the game, a ticket and a boxed lunch provided by The Atrium.

SGA President Frank Hood said the buses are planning to leave for the game at 2 p.m. from Worthen Arena. Students should show up by 1:30 p.m.

The number of buses the president's office will provide will be based on the number of students who sign up, Hood said.

So far SGA has sold out two buses for the game. Friday morning's sign up sold out by 9 a.m., an hour after it began, Hood said.

"We are saying if you want to go, you'll get to go," Hood said Friday. "You don't have to camp out at 4 a.m., but you'll have to show up sometime Monday if you want a spot."
