The No. 17 Ball State University football team could face something tonight it has not dealt with all season: snow.
There is a 30 percent chance of snow fall, according to noaa.gov, when Ball State and Central Michigan University begin their game at 7 p.m. in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
In addition to the possibility of snow, temperatures will be in the low 30s and wind gusts could be as high as 23 mph, according to the Web site.
This is the second consecutive week Central Michigan could play a game in inclement weather. The Chippewas played in foggy and rainy conditions during an overtime road win against Northern Illinois University last week.
The Cardinals (10-0, 6-0 Mid-American Conference) and the Chippewas (8-2, 6-0 MAC) enter this game tied for first place in the MAC West Division. Also, both teams received votes in this week's Associated Press Poll, with Ball State ranked No. 14 and Central Michigan listed No. 29.
