- The BCS standings are comprised of the Harris Poll, Coaches Poll and six computer polls.
- Ball State was ranked the highest in the Harris Poll at No. 11. The Cardinals were also ranked No. 12 in the computer polls and No. 13 in the Coaches Poll
- Ball State is one of four non-BCS conference teams ranked in the top 12 of the BCS standings. This is the first time four non-BCS conference teams have been ranked this high in the standings.
- In order for Ball State to receive an automatic berth to BCS bowl it needs to be ranked at least No. 12 and the highest ranked non-BCS conference team.

- This package will go on sale at 9 a.m. in the Office of Student Life, Room 133 in the L.A. Pittenger Student Center, and will end at 5 p.m. Tuesday. A Ball State ID and waiver form are required to sign up.
