Homecoming is over and the duldrums of entertainment are upon us.
We must wait another year before we can have a bonfire on LaFollette Field or race down Riverside Avenue on a bed - at least legally.
The football team will be away at the University of Toledo this weekend, leaving the majority of Cardinals fans behind. At least going to watch "Sex and the City" this weekend at Pruis Hall is always an option for you football addicts.
Even the weather won't cooperate. Going outside to play wasn't much of an option Tuesday thanks to the gray skies and chilly winds that greeted us as we walked to class in the morning.
Now that it is October, Muncie's never-ending gloom during the cooler months is almost here. Better get out the winter coats soon.
Our biggest thrill of the week thus far - we have a new hot dog guy in town.

Probably not as much as last week, but don't fret. For all you tough football fanatics, instead of pouting at home because you couldn't make the drive out to Ohio, consider paying a visit to Friday Night Filmworks. Watching Sarah Jessica Parker might be hard to tolerate, but you're girlfriend will thank you.
Our days are becoming shorter making the weekdays feel longer, but don't allow yourselves to become overwhelmed by the mellowness of midsemester.
Maybe going to Junior High Journalism Day this Friday isn't your idea of fun, but keep your hopes up. It's October, and before you know it. Halloween will be here to fill your calendar with another week of fun and games.
