Ball State University senior men's golfer Andrew Rhodes has been named Mid-American Conference Men's Golfer of the Week on Tuesday.
Rhodes was Ball State's best player last weekend, finishing sixth-place individually at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate. Currently, Rhodes leads Ball State with a 74.66 average in three tournaments.
Rhodes also received this award last season during the first week of April.
"Hard work pays off," Rhodes said. "I have been practicing a lot and putting in a lot of hard work lately. I've just been giving it my all. It's my last year for Ball State golf and it's nice to get a reward like that. It gives me confidence."
