Ball State football player Kyle Hoke, nephew of coach Brady Hoke, was arrested for driving while intoxicated Aug. 30, according to Delaware County jail officials.
Hoke was booked at the Delaware County jail at 3:30 a.m. and released at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 30, according to jail officials.
Hoke is a freshman safety on the Cardinals' football team and son of Jon Hoke, who is the defensive backs coach for the Houston Texans. The 5-foot-11, 190-lbs. freshman did not record a tackle in Ball State's season-opening game against Northeastern. Hoke was recruited from Clements High School in Sugar Land, Texas.
