For the second time in his college career, Ball State University's cornerback B.J. Hill has received a weekly conference award.
Hill was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.
In Ball State's 48-14 season-opening win against Northeastern University, Hill returned three punts for a combined 90 yards. Also, one of those returns was a career-long 72 yard punt return in the second quarter.
Prior to this selection, Hill was named the MAC Special Teams Player of the Week as a freshman during the 2005 season.
