Six Ball State University athletics teams will have their games broadcast on television and the Internet this fall by a new Ball State group.
Ball State Sports Link, a semester-long immersive learning experience, will broadcast events on WIPB-TV and www.ballstatesports.com this semester. The group will broadcast two women's volleyball matches, two soccer games, a field hockey contest, a swimming and diving meet, a men's basketball game and a football pregame show.
Ball State Sports Link will also have a biweekly Ball State sports show that will air at 6 p.m. on Fridays beginning Sept. 26.
The program allows Ball State students a chance to broadcast live events, produce a biweekly sports show and do online reporting for television and the Internet.
