Ball State to offer shuttle service to Indianapolis airport

In collaboration with the Indianapolis International Airport, Ball State University will offer students, faculty and staff a ride on the campus shuttle to the airport.

Layne Cameron, associate director of University Communications, said those interested in the service must make reservations 72 hours in advance of the desired departure time.

"It's convenient, safe and easy to schedule online," he said.

There is a $55 nonrefundable one-way fee online in advance if using a credit card, and the Ball State student ID will be required for boarding the shuttle, Cameron said.

The service will last until Sunday and those coming from the airport to Muncie can be dropped off at any main campus location. Those leaving Muncie to the airport can be picked up at LaFollette Complex or Park Hall.

Cameron said the shuttle service also will be available to and from the airport at Thanksgiving Break in November, Winter Break in December and January, and Spring Break in March. Reservations for those dates can be made now as well, he said.
