The Ball State University baseball team lost their first game Wednesday 13-7 to Northern Illinois University in the first round of the MAC double-elimination tournament.
Tyler Pritchard suffered the loss, giving up six hits and eight runs in 4.1 innings. The Cardinals had 11 hits, including home runs from Wayne Bond Jr., Zach Dygert, Kory Benbow and Matt Stoeklen.
The Cardinals will play the loser of the Kent State University/Central Michigan University game Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
