The campus-wide game Humans vs. Zombies is entering its fifth and final day.
In the game's storyline, scientists working to defeat the zombies in the L.A Pittenger Student Center were supposed to be airlifted Sunday, but their helicopter crashed in North Quad.
The humans responded to a distress signal and went to the Student Center to rescue the scientists. Their mission was to escort the scientists to an open field to be airlifted.
Once the humans retrieved the zombies, about 35 zombies confronted the remaining few.
The small human force fought its way through campus to LaFollette Field and airlifted the scientists out.
Now the humans face the zombies in the final battle tomorrow. Sunday's efforts will give the humans a bonus in Monday's mission.
