Trendz of Essence to have runway show

Members of Trendz of Essence will strut their stuff during their Fall Fashion Show Saturday.

Event coordinator Candice Jackson said the event would begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Center. Doors open at 7 p.m., and admission is $5.

"Our motto is 'Leaders in Understatement,'" Jackson said. "We actually want to personify it in our show."

The show will focus on wardrobes representing careers and lifestyles, she said.

"There will be different forms of modeling, and we'll have some other surprises," she said.
