A group of Ball State University telecommunications and theater students will premier a film they produced at 8 p.m. Saturday in Pruis Hall.
Ryan Underwood, communications director for Public Relations Student Society of America, said the students produced the film "Grove Lake," which is a coming-of-age story about a reporter.
"It's about a reporter who comes to a small town and she learns that basically things aren't what she plans," Underwood said.
After the viewing there will be a reception in Pruis, and producers will discuss the film with the audience, Underwood said.
The students produced the film during the summer, and they had a viewing of the rough cut in October, he said.
The film screening is free to attend, and doors open at 7:30 p.m.
