Playing its last non-conference match of the season, the Ball State University women's volleyball team was swept at IPFW Tuesday.
The Cardinals started off losing the first game 30-22, but it was down hill from there. They lost game two 30-18, and dropped game three 30-9. The third game was the worst score for Ball State this season.
With the loss, Ball State falls to 3-22 on the season and has now lost nine straight matches.
Julie Breivogel led the Cardinals with eight kills while Alyssa Rio paced Ball State with 12 digs.
As a team the Cardinals tallied 23 kills and 37 errors on 110 chances. That comes out to a -.127 attacking percentage. Game three was stastically the worst game for the Cardinals' attacking. The team had four kills and a -.258 attacking percentage.
