Greeks sponsor comedy show fundraiser

Delta Zeta sorority and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity will team up to host a comedy show fundraiser today.

The event will be at 7:30 p.m. in Pruis Hall, she said. Admission is $7 at the door.

Delta Zeta President Leah Beynon said the show will feature professional comedian Steve Hofstetter.

Hofstetter formerly wrote material for www.collegehumor.com, a site that focuses on producing videos, pictures and jokes, she said.

"We brought Steve here three years ago for a comedy show," she said. "Everyone seemed to enjoy it, so we brought him back again this year."

The two greek organizations are pairing up in order to make the best of the fundraiser, Beynon said.

"Working together is a great opportunity for us," she said. "It brings better publicity and shows unity among greek life."
