Gamma Phi Omega sorority is hosting events all week long to encourage a membership increase, President Sarra Trevino-Norris said.
She said the first and only Latina-oriented sorority has hosted this week-long string of events since their establishment on campus in 1994.
She said the organization is only a sorority of two and the events will increase membership.
"This is a way to kind of advertise ourselves," she said.
