Despite the recent rainfall, Muncie residents are enjoying the Delaware County Fair at the fairgrounds near Minnetrista. The standard food and rides can be found at the year's carnival, with everything from elephant ears to sweet corn and Tilt-A-Whirl to the classic Ferris wheel. In addition, fairgoers can take part in games such as Crazy Ball and Dart Toss. Two favorite games among children have been the Pick-A-Duck game and the fishing game. Area 4-H clubs have animals and exhibits on display. The fair began Monday and will last until Saturday night. Admission is free and parking and grandstand events at the fairgrounds cost $5.
