SWIMMING AND DIVING: Ball State wins first Mid-American Conference meet

Women and men earn 16 first-place finishes against Buffalo

Joking around during Thursday's practice, sophomore Addison Del Rio said that the Ball State University women's swimming and diving team would return home with a 2-0 record.

She was right.

On Friday, both the women's and men's teams attended their first Mid-American Conference meet against Buffalo in New York.

The women's team finished in first place with a score of 164 to Buffalo's 79, while the men's team also won by a score of 136-101.
