Dear Editor,
Those people who bash Ball State University's football team have no room to talk, and their opinions on this forum are not valued by any of us who do follow Ball State Football - win or lose.
These guys busted their butts under extreme adversity against Western Michigan, and they overcame in five overtimes. Granted, some violated the rules, were suspended and they did it to themselves, but the team itself still persevered under extreme circumstances.
My point is: Unless you give these guys the courtesy of actually attending a home football game and rooting them on, you really should just shut up and go watch another sport - or better yet, go to another university.
