Dear Editor,
As an alumnus of Ball State University, I am saddened by the request for the resignation of Dr. Douglas McConkey. McConkey was always accessible to me as a student leader and to all students. I don't know Dr. Jo Ann Gora, neither do most of the students or alumni know Gora; therefore, maybe she should get settled into her new position before she reconstructs the university's administration to suit her needs. My experience at Ball State was one of the best experiences of my life. I attribute my positive experience to administrators like McConkey, who did what he could to put students first. Thanks Dr. McConkey for your positive leadership.
