A freshman runner on the women's track team competed in the USATF Junior Nationals this past weekend in College Station, Texas.
Christina Poulson competed in both the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash with 19th and 15th place finishes, respectively. Her time in the 100 was 11.92 and she finished the 200 in 24.61.
Poulson had Ball State's season-best times in both events during the outdoor season. She ran the 100 in 11.80 and the 200 in 24.08. She finished fourth in the 100 at the Mid-American Conference Championships and ninth in the 200.
She came to Ball State after winning three state titles in the 100.
