MEN'S TENNIS Cardinals face Division II Indianapolis before No. 61 Broncos

Ball State has played a loaded schedule this year, facing 12 ranked teams in a 22-match season. Before the Cardinals can finish their season against No. 61 Western Michigan, they must face the University of Indianapolis.

The Cards (11-11) will face the Division II Greyhounds (7-16) at 1:30 p.m. at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. The Cards are coming off a 2-0 week with a 6-1 win over Indiana State and a 4-3 victory over conference foe Northern Illinois.

UI comes into Muncie off of a 1-2 weekend, with losses to DePauw and Southern Indiana and a win over Bellarmine. UI has a single victory over a Division I school this year, a 4-3 victory over an undermanned Wright State, who the Cardinals vanquished 7-0 earlier in the season.

A win over Indianapolis would secure the Cardinals that they would complete the regular season with a .500 record for the 28th time under the guidance of Bill Richards. It would also secure a six-game win streak before the Cardinals face Western Michigan for their 18th Mid American Conference Championship.
