MEN'S BASKETBALL Cards taking place in 'Bracket Buster'

The men's basketball team will play host to Detroit on Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. as part of ESPN's "Bracket Buster" Saturday. The pairings were announced Monday.

The Titans (9-10 overall) are currently 3-6 in the Horizon League. Titans senior guard Rawle Marshall originally came to Ball State, having committed before then-coach Ray McCallum departed for Houston. Marshall transferred to Detroit after the 2000-01 season.

Four Bracket Buster games involving Mid-American Conference teams -- Creighton at Kent State, College of Charleston at Western Michigan, Toledo at Nevada and Southwest Missouri State at Miami -- will be televised on either ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPN plus.
