The Ball State baseball team opened its 2003 fall schedule Thursday with Scout Day at Ball Diamond. The Cardinals will play five intrasquad games on Oct. 10 at 3:30 p.m., Oct. 11 and 12 at 2:00 p.m., and Oct. 15 and 16 at 3:30 p.m.
Six position starters, including the entire infield, and several key pitchers from last year's Mid-American Conference West Division Champions have returned for second-year head coach Greg Beals.
