Tom Green reschedules for tonight

Comedian's partner Glenn Humplick will wrestle in Jell-O at Dill Street at 9 p.m.

Tom Green can be found at Dill Street Bar at 9 p.m. today as areferee for a Jell-O-wrestling match between P.O.D. (Pissed OffDwarf) and Green's sidekick, Glenn "Hollywood" Humplick. The eventis limited to only those who are 21 and older. The doors are set toopen at 8 p.m.

Green's visit was postponed from Sunday because he was ill withthe flu.

The comedian was invited to come to Ball State after alumni AndyBell, Jason Harris, and Joe Whetsel and senior telecommunicationsmajor David Plough entered a video in the "Why Should Tom and GlennCome to Our Town" competition.

A parade will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on Dave'sAlley.

"We're very big fans of Dave (David Letterman)," said BurtDebrow, executive producer of the show. "We're happy to see theAlley and pay tribute to him."

After the parade, Green will be given the key to the city byMayor Dan Canan.

Whetsel said he was uncertain on how long today's event wouldlast but encouraged everyone attending to be respectful to thecomedian and not to mob him.

"We're all about making the show better and making (Green) feelwelcome in Muncie," Whetsel said. "This could potentially bringother famous people here."

Scenes from tonight's event will be recorded by Green's filmteam and are scheduled to air the week of Sept. 22.
