"Patrick (Wilkes-Krier) and C.D. (Hockersmith) continue to do agood job. We just need to get five guys going at the same time andif we do that I like our chances for playing competitive golf atthe tournaments," head coach Mike Fleck said.
The Cardinals finished behind three Mid-American Conferenceschools: Miami of Ohio, Akron and Bowling Green.
Ball State is coming off a rather disappointing effort at theMid-Pine Intercollegiate where they finished 11th out of 14 teams.Fleck was pleased with the improvement, though, since theMid-Pine.
"I think we looked better and sharper. We came out a little bitmore prepared," Fleck said.

"We kind of dug ourselves in a hole early on Sunday and it washard to turn that around."
