Coming into the Louisville Invitational, Ball State Men’s Tennis freshman Danilo Kovacevic had only won one singles invite. This weekend, he was a singles champion once again.
Ball State Women’s Tennis traveled to Chattanooga, Tennessee, for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regionals. Junior Rebecca Herrington and senior Sarah Swiderski stood out for the Cardinals.
Both the Ball State Women’s and Men’s Swim & Dive finished in the top 3 out of six teams at Indiana Intercollegiate Invite on Saturday. The women’s team finished second, behind Purdue, while the men’s were third behind Purdue and Evansville.
As former men’s swim and dive head coach Bob Thomas hung up the whistle last season, it was a familiar face that would succeed Thomas’ spot. Jeremy Agnew, a 1996 graduate from Ball State, made a strong impact in his homecoming to Ball State.
At the Purdue Invitational, junior Rebecca Herrington, senior Isabelle Dohanics and senior Audrey Berger represented Ball State Women’s Tennis placing in the top three in singles play.
