Welcoming customers into a room full of warming scents from lavender to vanilla, Debbie’s Handmade Soap in downtown Muncie offers its customers a new way of lathering their skin with the shop’s handmade soap.
With the simple buzz of the back door, visitors are welcomed into what has been known as a “safe place” for the children of Muncie for 85 years: the Boys & Girls Clubs of Muncie (BGC).
With only 12 hours of dancing instruction, 12 “celebrity couples” and three dance teams will compete for “judge choice” and “people’s choice” awards, while raising money for Paramount Theatre.
As the crowd cheered “magic” over and over again, the twinkling lights of the tall Christmas tree began to dance. Small children looked up in wonder as they gazed upon the multicolor light show.
Dozens of students in the audience face the stage as a man sings a song about obedience on a stool. The small tune fills the Student Center Ballroom as the first of 18 characters in the one man show.
