Wil McPhillips and his roommates were hosting a private party. According to McPhillips, an uninvited group came into the house and was quickly asked to leave. When they refused to leave, punches were thrown before the group left the house, but they congregated on the property outside the home.

Yorktown went into last night’s home opener against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory having only played one other game (a 3-0 win against Westfield) this season. But the Braves had already played four games and had only lost one set in that stretch. Yet the visiting Braves have now lost four sets as the Tigers came out victorious as they defeated their opponent 3-1, giving Yorktown its second straight win.
Coming into Saturday’s IHSAA Class 4A Volleyball State Championship game, MaxPreps ranked Hamilton Southeastern fourth in the nation and Yorktown fifth; the teams had a combined record of 67-3 this season. They already met this season before this championship showdown; a 5-set encounter that saw Hamilton Southeastern come away with a win.
