City Council meeting to discuss future of Muncie animal shelter

Ball State University animal lovers are expected to show up in support of the Muncie Animal Shelter at the City Council meeting tonight in downtown Muncie.Muncie Mayor Sharon McShurley announced last week the shelter would be closing Dec. 31 due to budget cuts that would leave it understaffed.
