The Cardinals are undefeated (7-0) and have a tournament win in Indianapolis this season, while just being 3-5 outside of the Capitol City.

The Unity Scholarship Pageant was a contest that Miss Unity said judges a person not just on their looks, but on their inner beauty. Multicultural Center Director Tiffany Washington said all the contestants worked tirelessly for months to prepare for the contest, being involved with community service and multicultural center events as well as preparing for the pageant.

GYMNASTICS: Ball State plays host to Cardinal Classic

The Cardinal Classic was started in the late-'80s by then-head coach Mary Roth. The meet used to feature a number of teams each year - at its peak, six to seven teams were common for the event. Ball State coach Nadalie Walsh said that she hopes to recreate that atmosphere in the future.
