FOOTBALL: Milas looks to put subpar performance behind him

It's been said that a sign of a true champion is the ability to bounce back after a key loss, that's exactly what starting quarterback, Jack Milas, will look to do after throwing three interceptions against Ball State rival Northern Illinois last Wednesday.

FOOTBALL: Anatomy of a Play vs. Northern Illinois

Early in the fourth quarter, Ball State trailed Northern Illinois 21-14. Backed up deep in his territory, Ball State quarterback Jack Milas tried to force a pass to his right, which was intercepted and returned for a touchdown.  The touchdown would ultimately be the game-winning score in Northern Illinois’ 35-21 victory.  “Offensively, we were very inconsistent with all of the turnovers,” Ball State head coach Pete Lembo said. 1. Dancing Pros: Live takes Emens

At 7 p.m. Friday night, John R. Emens Auditorium flooded with an unexpected crowd. Dancing Pros: Live appeared for a performance at Ball State.  For an event held on a college campus, there were few college students in attendance.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Ball State defeats Central Michigan 3-1

The Ball State women's volleyball team defeated Mid-American Conference foe Central Michigan on the road Friday. This is the Cardinals' second consecutive win. Defense led the way for Ball State as they held Central Michigan to just a .130 attack percentage. Ball State also registered 13 total blocks, led by redshirt junior Hayley Benson with two solo blocks and four assists. Amanda Raker added one solo block and four assists, and Sabrina Mangapora had one solo block and two assists.
