In the first tournament of the fall season, Ball State Women’s Golf placed third overall thanks to two top-10 individual finishes on Monday.
Kick-off is underway and from the entertainment side, fans should be excited about the start the 2019-20 NFL season got off to.
After a staggering victory last weekend, Ball State plans to win against Taylor University on September 13.
Not only did Plitt register a career-high 439 passing yards, but tied Ball State Football’s record in touchdown passes, recording six on the day.
The Cardinals (3-3, 0-0 MAC) brought their offense with them to the Gonzaga Tournament this weekend, going 2-1 against Grand Canyon, Montana and Gonzaga.

Ball State Soccer (5-0, 1-0 MAC) carried its momentum from its season-opening success at home Friday as the Cardinals shut out Omaha (1-3-1, 0-0 Summit League) 1-0 in their first road game this season.

In Ball State’s home opener Friday, the Cardinals (2-2, 0-0 MAC) shut out Saint Louis (0-3, 0-0 Atlantic 10), 3-0. Despite having only played four games this season, the team has already tied its 2018 win total.
By the time Aug. 31, 2019, came around, it had been 365 days since sophomore receiver Yo’Heinz Tyler’s last touchdown — a whole year without reaching the end zone. It had been too long.
Upon the release of the team's 2019-20 schedule, Ball State will get two cracks at back to back MAC Champions Buffalo and a overall evenly balanced home to away schedule.
The Cardinals will get a chance at two different non-conference tournaments traveling to the Bahamas and New Mexico.
Almost as exciting as the postseason, is the stretch of baseball between Labor Day and October. This is the most crucial part of the schedule for the teams that are in the hunt.
The currently 30 game schedule has the Cardinals traveling to Hawaii, Georgia and just south of Muncie to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The “holdout culture” throughout the league has started to become a bigger situation recently because the players are beginning to take a stand for what they deserve.
Ball State Soccer (4-0, 0-0 MAC) once again received contribution from sophomore defender Grace Alsop as she scored another goal to help the Cardinals take down Loyola Chicago (1-3, 0-0 Missouri Valley) 2-1 at Briner Sports Complex.
