Gaming celebrities to appear on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Stephen Colbert is not just having one, but two influential people in the world of video games on The Late Show this coming week. Appearing on the show as a guest alongside Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel and actress Claire Danes, the ‘King of YouTube’ PewDiePie will be seen on CBS on Thursday, October 1 at 11:35 p.m.

This high-fructose dose of Robert de Niro is an unexpectedly lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Definitely not a blockbuster hit, "The Intern" offers a more understated and feel-good experience than movies like "Straight Outta Compton" or "Black Mass." Although it may not win any awards, "The Intern" is a movie that did just what it intended and provided 121 minutes of frivolous delight.

Nickelodeon releases details for 90s programming block, The Splat

The Splat, Nickelodeon’s 1990s themed programming block, will begin on October 5. According to Nickelodeon, The Splat will be "a new multiscreen content destination spanning television, seven social media platforms and a dedicated web site aggregating the most loved Nick content from the 1990s and beyond." While originally thought to be just showing cartoons on television, the new information reveals that there will be much more. Currently announced show genres are both animated and live-action.
