SGA fills more senator positions; committee works on campus safety

Every off-campus and at-large senator position is filled in Student Government Association, which means students have more representation than in the past. SGA President Asher Lisec said she did not know the last time all the senator positions were filled.

Blood donor regulations under debate

Filling out questionnaires at the university blood drive today and Friday, students will check yes or no on the infamous "are you a man who has had sex with a man" question. However, that question, and ones like it, could be missing from future questionnaires.

The rally was the second since several students contested how university police treated a predominately black group of students during a game of midnight tag on LaFollette Field on March 30.

After being introduced as the men's basketball coach at Ball State University on Tuesday, Ronny Thompson made it clear what his plans are for the future of Cardinal basketball. Freshman point guard leaves Ball State to play at Marquette in Big East Conference

Ball State University freshman Maurice Acker has signed a scholarship letter of agreement to transfer and play basketball for Marquette University, according to Marquette's Web site. The Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year will have three years of eligibility remaining in his college career, but he will not be available for game competition until the 2007-08 season.

The two met in college at Georgetown University when Ronny Thompson was a player on the men's basketball team. For several players on the men's basketball team, just the sight of legendary coach John Thompson sent adrenaline running through their bodies. It's not everyday that the son of a Hall of Fame coach is named to the head coaching position at a university. Junior Charles Bass said he can't wait to begin playing under Ronny Thompson.
