Homecoming got off to a slow start for Ball State University at Scheumann Stadium on Saturday. The University of Toledo scored on the opening drive of the game and took a 7-6 lead into the second quarter. Quarterback Aaron Opelt found wide receiver Eric Page for a 39-yard strike to complete the scoring drive, which lasted more than four minutes.

The independent group Outlet took first place in the independent and overall categories. C-4 took first in the residence hall and fan choice categories.
