University names Jennifer Bott as dean of Miller College of Business

Jennifer Bott has been named the new dean of the Miller College of Business. Bott was interim dean since June 2015, and she worked on transforming the college by building relationships and encouraging collaboration and strategic planning, according to a university press release. She also revitalized fundraising efforts for the college.

Faculty members, trustees, students discuss university transparency

The Board of Trustees, Acting President Terry King and Interim Provost Bob Morris held a closed meeting March 14 to discuss matters of transparency with select faculty members and students. The meeting covered transparency in university matters in general but also included the resignation of former university President Paul W. Ferguson.

$3.25 million grant raises questions at university

After the university received a $3.25 million grant from alumnus John "Papa John" Schnatter and the Charles Koch Foundation, some questions and concerns have been raised around the university, as well as other universities where the Koch foundation gave money.
