The visitors paced themselves through Ball State’s new greenhouse Saturday, examining the vibrant variety of orchids. However, some people took the time to congratulate an emotional Cheryl LeBlanc, the greenhouse’s curator.
Ball State dedicated the next component in transforming its campus. Today, the university hosted a ribbon cutting for the new $1.35 million Dr. Joe and Alice Rinard Orchid Greenhouse.
Ball State’s summer enrollment has seen an increase of 2.6 percent from last year, or 219 more students. A majority of the students are taking at least one online course.
