Plans not concrete for new College of Health

By the end of the semester, Ball State should have a preliminary plan for its new College of Health Sciences and Professions.On Friday, the Board of Trustees voted to endorse the efforts of Terry King, provost and vice president for student affairs, in creating a new college of health.

Students react to recent feces incident

On Sunday a 17-year-old was taken into police custody for attempting to tip a waitress at Brothers Bar & Grill with two dollar bills covered in fecal matter. We asked students what they thought of the incident, and here is what they said.

FIELD HOCKEY: Pair of Cardinals named as players of the week

The Mid American Conference named goal keeper, Shelby Henley, and midfielder, Lexi Kavanaugh, as players of the week after the Ball State Field hockey team swept their two game weekend home stand.Defensive player of the week was given to Henley after she only allowed one goal in two games which include: the 5-0 shutout against Missouri State as well as the 2-1 overtime thriller against Michigan State. Henley leads the Mid American conference in goals against and trails only Central Michigans goal keeper, Sadie Reynolds, in save percentage.

FOOTBALL: New quarterback expects success

A few days after setting the Ball State record for most touchdowns thrown by a quarterback in his first start, redshirt freshman Jack Milas expects his success to continue.“I set the bar kind of high,” Milas said, laughing.
